Born on September 28, 1959 in Yerevan. 1966-1976 studied in Yerevan secondary school No. 54. at school.
In 1976-1979, he studied at the Yerevan Art and Theater Institute, studied in the studio of Vardan Atchemyan, Hrachya Ashughyan, Artashes Hovsepyan and Elsa Guleseryan.
In 1979, he continued his studies at the Faculty of Culture of the Armenian Pedagogical Institute of Yerevan.
Since 1987, he has been engaged in pedagogical activities, starting secondary school No. 14 named after Nar-Dos in Yerevan. from the school, where he taught the subject "Ethics and Aesthetics" in his own author's program, while at the same time managing the responsibilities of the school librarian.
Since 1995, Kh. has started teaching the same subject. No. 114 named after Dashtens in the school, where he created the "Individium" school theater, which operated for about 7 years. During those years, he directed around 15 plays. The school was founded by Kh. Dashtens Museum and was appointed the director of the museum.
Since 2000, Yerevan E. In the school named after Charents, he assumed the position of deputy director for organizational and educational affairs. Trained and taught the "Law" course.
In February 2005, after receiving an invitation from the YSU alumni association, he created the "University" theater-studio, of which he is the artistic director and director until now. Karine Davtyan is also the author of a number of cultural programs implemented at the university (YSU honoring ceremony and first-year students' oath ceremony, cultural education as a stimulus for student spirituality, YSU film club, etc.).
On June 6, 2006, he was appointed the director of YSU Charles Aznavour Culture Center, combining the "University" theater-studio's director. the works of the manager and director.
